Economic potential of big and open data
As identified by demosEUROPA, “Overall, by 2020, big & open data can improve the European GDP by 1.9%, an equivalent of one full year of economic growth in the EU.
The increased adoption of Big Data will have positive impact on employment, and is expected to result in 3.75 million jobs in the EU by 2017.
