The project provides tools enabling policy makers to find and select relevant information; link and homogenize the data; model policy in terms of constraints and intent; validate the policy; discover and incorporate views from NGOs and public; predict social impact of policy; provide decision support; provide understandable visualization.

The ultimate objective of the Sense4us project is to advance policy modeling and simulation, data analytics and social network discussion dynamics, providing economic and social benefits at all governmental levels across Europe.

POLICY MAKERS’ PARTICIPATION

 

The success of the Sense4us project depends on the participation of policy makers / decision makers. The more involvement we get, the more requirements can be incorporated to support the everyday decision making process by providing useful tools. The pilots follow mainly three levels of participation: The European Institutions, the national level in the UK and Germany, and the state (local) level in Germany.

We have just finished our first online survey to collect opinions and feedback to shape initial requirements for the Sense4us project.
